How often does the report publish?

Monthly. Each one counts the fleet again and measures the change against the one before it.

Where does the data come from?

A hand-kept count of every Cheoy Lee motor yacht in scope listed on either MLS, checked against the sold records for closing figures. There are two MLS systems and most brokers work one. We work both.

How many Cheoy Lee motor yachts are for sale?

Twenty three of model year 2000 and later as of August 26, 2026. Twenty one carry a published asking price and the other two are priced on request.

Why treat a dealer reported sale differently from a brokerage resale?

Because they measure different things. Three of the eight sales in the August report are new boat deliveries reported by a dealer. A new boat figure carries the dealer’s interest in supporting the value of their own inventory. Current tariffs on new yachts built in China can also move it a long way from what the same boat brings used.

What’s the risk in pricing a boat off these reports alone?

The report gives you the board. It doesn’t give you your boat. Six of the twenty three have been listed more than a year and every one of them is still asking, so the published asking prices on this brand include figures the market has already declined.

Can I get the figures for my model before the next report?

Yes. That’s a phone call and nothing about it goes public.

Pricing, Sales and Market Trends

We track the used Cheoy Lee motor yachts for sale on the MLS: what each one is asking, every reduction in price, how long it has actually been on the market and which boats sold. Our data comes from MLS listing and sold records that buyers and sellers can’t search on their own. Each section below opens a running list of our work on that subject.

Closing prices are not published here. If you own a Cheoy Lee or are exploring the brand and want to know what boats like it actually sold for, call me at 561-460-6956 or email me at info@cheoyleeyachtsused.com to discuss.
